Before you begin using your newly purchased designs I want to show you some basic customization techniques:
1. Copy and paste a shape or a slide into another presentation
This one is SO common: you want to use a Powerpointing shape or a slide in your own presentation. If you just copy-paste like most people will do, the colors will change to the "theme colors". You can avoid this with one click: When you copy a shape into another presentation using ctrl c+v, a little scrapbook icon will appear in lower right corner. Click that one and select "Keep Source Formatting".
2. Ungroup to change a shape
To make it more convenient to move our designs around we have grouped them together. So if you want to customize a shape or part if you will need to ungroup it. It's simple though; just right-click and choose ungroup. Depending on the shape you can do more than once (see video below).
3. Change the color in a design
You might want to change the color of a shape so it matches your needs/style/corporate image. Here's how to do it: Select the shape you want to change the color on, in the top bar choose “Shape Fill”, then choose the color you like. You can change the “outlines” of the shape in the same menu just select “Shape Outline” (see the video above).
4. Changing pictures in our PowerPoint templates
Our templates come with great pictures, but you need not stick with them. You can change pictures in our PowerPoint templates and its an easy 2 step process. Check the below video.
5. How to customize Maps for PowerPoint
Our maps for PowerPoint are designed to allow customizing in every aspect – be it countries, states or the different pointers or flags. Simply right click on the selected object and go to ‘Change Picture’ or ‘Format Shape’.
